Alutamarket Secures Federal Ministry of Education (S-VCG) Grant

The Trust Layer for Nigeria’s Campus Economy is officially a National Winner!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Alutamarket has emerged as a winner of the S-VCG Grant, awarded by the Federal Ministry of Education. The journey to this moment was rigorous:

• 30,639 Initial Applications nationwide.
• 65 Finalists selected for the intensive 3-day bootcamp.
• 45 Winners chosen to lead the future of educational and campus innovation.

The award ceremony took place on March 29, 2026, at the UNDP Building in Lagos State, following an impactful 3-day bootcamp organized by the Ministry. We were honored to pitch our vision in the presence of the Honourable Minister of Education, the Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, and distinguished stakeholders from across the public and private sectors.

A Debt of Gratitude This victory belongs to the entire ecosystem. We extend our profound appreciation to:

• The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) and the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria (FME) for identifying and investing in campus-led innovation. Afara Initiatives for the world-class coordination and mentorship during the bootcamp.

• Our rep, Praise Madu, all the way from Federal University Oye Ekiti

• Our pilot campuses—FUTA, FUOYE, and Veritas—and the Student Union Governments who believed in the "Aluta" vision when it was just a blueprint.

The Path Forward Securing this grant is a mandate to scale. We remain fiercely committed to eliminating the "Herculean task" of manual campus trade and replacing it with a secure, automated, and trusted economy.
